Mom & IT Pro.. How do you connect the dots?

A not long ago, I read an interesting article about how Facebook and Apple helps at their employees to pay for the costs of cryopreservation (egg freezing :http://comunidad.iebschool.com/iebs/recursos-humanos-2-0/congelacion-ovulos-facebook-apple). Is this, really necessary? Are IT's really too complicated for a woman who wants to become a IT-professional and become a mother at a same time?

Tech´s is not about gender and not for fricki´s only

 Although there is a less women than mans in the IT´s industry, is not a evidence that womans are not able to do the both jobs. One of the biggest misunderstandings with our profesion is the "geek factor" or the "crazy antisocial machine", without talking with anybody, without living a normal life, It is believed that we have to spend all day working in front of a keyboard and computer and this is a big mistake, womens have always been in the processes of innovation and development, agriculture, astronomy, computing, etc.

The Tech´s female silent side 

Women have been progressively incorporated more professionally into the IT sector, and more and more have incorporated the Technologies into their personal and social life as a daily tool in communication work, in the search for their services needs, in a personal agenda or for business, with the use of the internet, in a mobiles, mail, chats, and a long etc.

The family factor in the new IT women's

I thank my parents very much for the way that they educated me. They always instilled me being an active, positive and empathetic person. My toys where dolls, dresses, but also puzzles, tokens to put together and they were always making me to think and to create. They always worked hard for I be grown up as a secure person of my own for any activity and this is the reason that I consider that the profession and maternity can coexist so, "To be" and "the time To be" , is a personal and private decision of each woman in function of discovering the own vocation of life.

New times, require a new professionals, and IT mom´s are knocking in the door

An IT pro does not have to be a pale-skinned person, living in a basement, with no social skills. In fact, the IT professional is currently the most versatile profession and completely breaks this erroneous stereotype and this is the point to connect the dots. IT is the perfect profession for a woman because is much more than software developer or stay into a basement a lot of hours to break hard security systems. It is a much more than this and as noble as any other profession, that implies dedication, discipline and service vocation.

Cutting through the noise: decide by your own

Being a mother is not a disease, it don´t reduce our brain, our talent, our friki factor, our capabilities , our complishment. Being a mother enhance the best of us.

I don`t say that it is easy, nor is it the perfect unstressed life(If it exists), but it's such a amazing stuff that really matter to try and to fight with all the force and power that a IT woman is able to.
